AAREI’s background and experience comes from diverse parts of the world and experiences.
Kurt Gibbs and Sam Trude have extensive experience developing and managing large and small, national and international projects for large and small corporations and institutions, as well as for themselves.
Seeing the inefficiencies that typically come in these environments and the inability to ‘shift’ direction quickly due to changing trends and societal patterns inspired the two founders to establish a tightly held, more nimble and versatile group that can provide creative solutions that are responsive to the issues surrounding density, urban infill, and sustainable living practices.
Today’s urban dwellers aspire to live in places with ‘connection’ to their community. They are much more connected and aware of relationships and human interaction and assign much greater value to this than what has been historically typical. This trend in developed communities is leading to more density and urban infill rather than once typical urban and suburban sprawl. Utilizing new urbanist design principles and new City and State planning laws allowing for increased density and ownership, AAREI is able to focus and capitalize on this new way of urban living.
Kurt Gibbs and Sam Trude bring a diverse array of skills, in depth understanding of the study of urban architecture and built form, experience and knowledge in urban planning, approvals, construction and financial management in developing this new urban development model.
